Paranormal or Normal? A Critical Thinking Workshop
From the series airing on RTÉ this August, join paranormal psychologist Ian Cox for an interactive workshop exploring cases of the paranormal… or are they?
In this engaging 1.5-2 hour session, students are challenged to apply scientific theory, logic, and critical thinking to investigate real-life unexplained cases. Working collaboratively, students examine evidence, test hypotheses, and decide whether a case can be explained through rational means or if it remains genuinely unexplained.
The workshop is designed to build confidence, communication, and analytical skills by placing students in the role of investigators; encouraging students to question assumptions, debate interpretations, and defend their conclusions using evidence and theory.
